Barack Obama

Barack Obama has a lot of stories. Yes, he went to school in Indonesia. Interesting!
However, I'm really interested to see how far can he go.

I remember meeting him when Obama was running for Illinois senate. I was working at the local NBC morning show. He was running against Republican Jack Ryan, he's toughest opponent after losing in 2000 from veteran congressman Bobby Rush.

Jack Ryan withdrew his candidacy as a Illinois senate 2.5 weeks before election. (Sex Scandal with x-Wife). This give Barack Obama an easy lay-up against Alan Keyes. Obama won by 70%-27%.

Now, Keyes had lost a lot of election before the Illinois Senate election on 2004. And 2.5 weeks to campaign doesn't give Keyes a strong candidacy. Republican pretty much know they are going to loose this election in 2004.

Today, Obama is running against one of the toughest Democratic candidate, the former first lady, Hillary Clinton. Obama had a surprising lead over Clinton in Iowa. WOW - everybody was shocked. I think Obama was shocked, too. The other day, New Hampshire had brought Clinton back to the top over Obama. WOW - EVERYBODY WAS SHOCKED - AGAIN.

Obama can give great speech. 2004 democratic presidential election for John Kerry. 2008 after winning the Iowa Caucasus. There should be plenty more speeches to come.

Let see how far a Kenyan' son will go this year.
